We have lots of 6th graders coming in this year. I’m always looking for someone to help with youth. AND I really could use a hand now. We will be kicking off youth with a pool party at the Popes house on Aug. 9th. The next Sunday the 16th is Anniversary for the church.We will be helping greet people with dishes of food at the CLC and help serve during this great meal. This will be a great chance for the youth to work together.
August 23rd is the day many have been waiting for since last year. Ewww Gross. Can’t give away the details but a cow is involved this year.
Hands and Feet mission weekend is coming up in September. This is a mission oriented event, with lots of options and ways to be in mission to the community of Murfreesboro. The $65 fee is due Aug.9.

Great to be back from mission trip. Great week working for God.

On Saturday we are being hosted for lunch at Paula’s Mom and Dad’s house. After lunch and a game of “5 base” we will be headed home. We’ll have the kids call when we get to Nashville. Take care, Joseph

Today we have rafted the Ocoee which because of the huge rain last night was very large in amount of water going over the dam. It was a blast. Several went horseback riding and Paintballing. Check out the pics on our Facebook page. Last night at Vespers was a very moving experience. The group grew even closer. The youth will have to tell you about this. This group is great. I’m proud to be their leader. Praise the Lord…..

Also, 100 kids running around in the rain playing volleyball, doing ropes, having water gun fights, and having chapel is what this week is all about!!!

Goood day to all. We are doing great. Had a great ride down. During vespers last night a BIG rain set in. It rained for most of the night. Our cabins are great though …. thanks to the air blowers.

Today we went out to our job site which is about 5 miles from camp. The weather has been great.We are digging out a room and adding a room above. We are finishing up what another group had started. We are priming and painting the other house next door. Some of our youth did not know that Kiltz Doesn’t wash off after it dries…. Needless to say several have paint tattoos. We are working with a group from Ft. Lauderdale. Our directors Noah and Lauren said they were impressed how quickly our two groups have meshed.
