The Word of God can be shared in many ways. The Ministry of Music &
the Arts serves as a witness to Jesus Christ through creative expression.
A brief description of our programs is listed below:
Chancel Choir
The chancel choir performs an anthem weekly at the 11:00 A.M. service
and on the first Sunday of the month at the 8:30 A.M. service. Rehearsal
is held on Wednesday nights during S.W.A.T. from 7:00 - 8:00 (summer
schedule: 6:00-7:00) and is open to high school youth and adults
of all ages. Seasonal and special productions, such as a Broadway
Dinner Theater, are conducted throughout the year.
Youth Ensemble
The youth ensemble is a choir open to middle and high school youth.
This choir rehearses during S.W.A.T. from 5:00 - 5:30 in the music
room and performs once or twice per quarter. All youth are invited
to attend!
Children’s Choirs
Children’s choirs rehearse during S.W.A.T. from 6:00-6:45
P.M. in the music room. During the Fall session of S.W.A.T., the
children’s choirs rehearse for the Christmas musical. Children
prepare for the Spring musical during the Spring session of S.W.A.T.
Often, the children rehearse together, although the entire children’s
choir is actually comprised of three smaller choirs: the Cherubs
(ages 3-5), the Sango Music Makers (grades K-2), and the Sango Singers
(grades 3-5).
If you would like more information about any of our music and arts
programs, please contact Luke Churchill, Director of Music Ministries,
