Pastor Andrew Stowell Andrew was born in Minnesota but reared in small town Iowa. He is a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, IA, where he received his BA in 1995. Following college Andrew enlisted in the United States Army, serving 3 years at Fort Campbell, KY, and 1 year in South Korea. Following his enlistment Andrew enrolled for seminary studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School, graduating with his Master of Divinity degree in 2005. Andrew's pastoral appointments include New Providence UMC where he served for 3 years as an associate and Kingston Springs UMC where he served as pastor for 6.5 years before coming to Sango UMC in July 2010. Andrew has recently completed a Master of Arts in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in the pursuit of becoming a licensed pastoral counselor. Andrew has one daughter, Preciosa.
Jodi KingJodi was born in rural Indiana the daughter of a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister. When she was eight, her family moved to Illinois, where she grew up. She graduated from Millikin University with a degree in Communication/Public Relations and moved to TN in November of 1998. In 1999 Jodi joined the Army and became the Division Chaplain Assistant at Ft. Campbell. She and her husband, Bill, were married in 2000. They have two children, Olivia and Will.
Over the years, Jodi has held leadership roles in all kinds of ministries including youth group, choir, praise team, drama and creative ministries, mission trips, and vacation Bible School. She came to Sango UMC in November 2008. A large part of Jodi's responsibilities include Children's ministry and Christian Education.
