Pack your beach bag and prepare for his years Vacation Bible School program, “Beach Party! Surfin’ Through the Scriptures!” Get ready to feel the surf and catch the wave of God’s love. This year’s program is overflowing with fun for the kids where they’ll learn to surf on the turf and surf through God’s word, come to know Jesus, and develop new Beach Be-Attitudes. The children (known as surfers for the week) will experience simple activities in the Surf n’ Sand Science Lab to help them understand how to be a follower of God, learn tunes at Sound Waves, make great beach souvenirs at Beachcomber Crafts, and run off energy at Rockin’ Rec. Last but not least, during reflection time, your surfers will have a moment to soak up the meaning of all the things they’ve learned throughout the evening. Parents, pre-registration will begin June 1st so be sure to take advantage of early registration. VBS is open to all children 4 years (must be potty trained) old through 5th grade. Click here to register online. Parents of preschoolers, we assign children by their age as of the July 7th VBS start date. Parents of older children, we assign your children to the grade they just completed for the 2007/2008 school year. Mission Project: Our project for this year is a continuation the F.U.E.L. Program. This involves the collection of food items that are distributed to needy families of Sango Elementary. We’re collecting juice boxes and/or Yoohoo drinks on the first night, July 7th.
